What Channels Have the Most Subscribers on Youtube

10 Individual Channels With Most Subscribers On YouTube In 2021

So who has the most subscribers on YouTube?

That is one question that must have intrigued you at some point.

Did you know?

The most subscribed channel on YouTube is T-Series, an Indian music company with a whopping 183 million subscribers and over 155 billion total views.

But they have an entire team of professionals managing every minute aspect of their primary channel along with 29 other channels on YouTube.

The real challenge is when you have to manage everything alone on your own YouTube channel. From selecting the niche, audience research, figuring out the keywords to planning content marketing strategy, sounds difficult, right?

It may sound like a mountain to climb, but some YouTubers have done it all independently.

These people are now called YouTube celebrities, YouTube influencers, YouTube icons, etc.

But one thing that is common in these famous individual YouTubers is that they provide highly valuable, quality content for their viewers. They worked hard on every aspect of YouTube content creation, and it took years of hard work for them to become an overnight success.

So who are these individuals with top YouTube subscribers?

How did they climb to the top of the ladder?

What separates them from the rest?

Out of many others around the globe, let's find out how the top 10 did it:

Who has the most Subscribers on YouTube in 2021?

1. PewDiePie

First on the list is Felix Kjellberg. You might know his channel with the name of PewDiePie. He started with YouTube in 2010, and it took him three years to get on top of the ladder with the most number of subscribers on YouTube.

He remained the king of YouTube for six straight years until T-Series dethroned him on 27 March 2019. Despite that, he remains the most subscribed individual on the YouTube platform.

He is from Sweden, has created a lot of content in the gaming industry, and has a broad subscriber base from people across the globe speaking different languages. One reason for his broad subscriber base is that his content is available in multiple other languages. He has also stepped into vlogging and the review genre to explore more aspects of his talent.

He has optimized his content over the past years. He has also worked hard on his YouTube marketing campaigns and all the minor factors that people usually ignore that help grow a YouTube channel. You can see PewDiePie collaborating with other YouTubers, which helps create a healthy environment in the community and boost both the entities involved in the collaboration.

Currently, he has 110 million subscribers and has a spellbinding 27 billion views in total on the platform. It took him over 4300+ videos over 11 years to reach this position on YouTube. When you compare these numbers with others individuals on the list, he is miles ahead of them. You can imagine the level of hard work and consistency he has put in. Having such a vast audience, he still creates high-quality content videos which people love.

Felipe Neto is a Brazilian comedy writer, actor, and of course, a YouTuber. Unlike Whindersson Nunes Batista, Felipe Neto's channel was first to reach the 1 million mark in Brazil. He is just a few numbers behind the top Brazilian YouTuber – whinderssonnunes, with a whopping subscriber base of 42 million.

At the start of his YouTube career in 2010, he used to talk about movies, celebrities, and daily activities. Later, he also explored fields like vlogging and video games. Felipe Neto is highly engaged in business activities apart from his YouTube. This is the prime reason he was listed in Time magazine's most influential people in the year 2020.

He is very active in creating new and engaging content for his audience. From his intros to his outros, viewers are just hooked on his content. He also intrigues first-time viewers with his attractive YouTube Thumbnails to click his video and watch it through. This is one of the prime reasons for his higher engagement numbers. He also has a brother, Luccas, who is also a famous Brazilian YouTuber. (we'll talk about him in the latter part)

8. Luccas Neto – LUCCAS TOON

Does the name sound familiar? Yes, Luccas Neto is the younger brother of Brazil's top Youtuber Felipe Neto. Following his brother's footsteps, he first uploaded his video in 2014, and in 2016 he hit the 1 million subscribers mark.

Within the following year, i.e., 2017, he had a subscriber base of 10 million. How did this drastic increase happen? One of the reasons is his viral videos. Some of the videos went viral and attracted a lot of new audiences to his YouTube channel.

Another reason is his attractive YouTube page which has helped him convert those visitors into his subscribers. His brother's dominance in the YouTube world also played an essential role in gaining a smaller audience. If you have a powerful network, it will surely help your cause.

Four years past that landmark, he currently has a subscriber base of 34.9 million and has crossed over 11 billion views on the YouTube platform. His content usually revolves around comedy videos. He also vlogs sometimes, but his creativity shines in his comedy videos.

10. CarryMinati

Living in a country with the highest population globally, Ajey Nagar is still the youngest on the top 10 list of individual YouTubers. Being just 21 years old, he has achieved this within 7 years of starting his YouTube career.

He kick-started his YouTube career in the year 2014 as a gamer. He used to stream games and also added his funny voice commentaries in those gameplays. Later he widened the scope of his content by making roasting videos, diss tracks, and comedy content.

He has crossed the landmark of 30 million subscribers on his primary channel with all his talent, making him the most subscribed individual channel in India. He also has a second channel named CarryIsLive which he started in 2017 which has 9.21 million subscribers. His total YouTube views have crossed the 3 billion mark. All these numbers ranked him in the 10th position of Times next-generation leaders in the year 2019.

But things were not smooth at the start of his journey. The type of content he creates for his audience sometimes crosses the boundaries set by YouTube. Even some of his videos are removed by YouTube as they violate the YouTube terms and conditions.

Moreover, his channel got three sticks when he was close to hitting the million subscriber mark and was at the risk of being permanently deleted. But he came strong and has become one of the youth icons in the country.
