Thor's Hammer Easter Egg

Activision

Location: Single Player Campaign — Celerium Mission

During the second mission called Celerium, in the single-player campaign, pay homage to the Norse God of Thunder by taking a look at his hammer. The hammer doesn't really do anything. Players aren't able to pick up or use it and no amount of firepower will dislodge it from its perch.

How to Find Thor's Hammer

Thor's hammer can be found near the start of the Celerium mission which is the second mission of the single-player campaign. After taking out all the enemies on the map, return to the area the mission started. By the bunker entrance, turn and walk to the cliff, drop down to the lower area and follow the stream, drop down again where you'll find a small dark cave with Thor's hammer standing upright on a rock.

Nuketown Retro Games Easter Egg

Activision

Location: Multiplayer — Nuketown 2025 Map

Everyone loves it when game developers pay homage to retro games or include games within games. That's what Treyarch did with this gem of an Easter egg and if you're able to complete the challenge they have set for unlocking this Easter egg you'll be awarded some retro gaming goodness.

How to Unlock Nuketown 2025 Retro Game Easter Egg

To unlock this Easter egg, go to the Nuketown 2025 map. This map was initially a bonus map for those who pre-ordered Black Ops 2 or purchased the Hardened or Care Package. The map is now regular multiplayer map rotation and available to everyone.

Once you're in the Nuketown 2025 map, race around the map shooting the heads off of every randomly spawned mannequin within the first 90 seconds of the match. This will most likely need to be a team effort. Once that has been completed, you'll notice an Activision logo on the TV screen found in the center of the map, from here you will have access to four retro Activision classics. However since this is a multiplayer map, you will have to take turns playing with other players. The current player who is playing the retro game cannot be killed during the multiplayer match.

The four games included are H.E.R.O., Kaboom!, Pitfall, and River Raid.
