Enfamil AR questions
My guy is on enfamil ar formula for 2 weeks now. His spit upward is meliorate just I notice that he is able to drink a lot more and seems briefly satisfied, then hungry again. He used to choke and eat really slow on other formulas & he tin can chug this one. At that place are times he has 5oz and 45 minutes afterwards he'southward hungry over again. He used to go 2-iii hours between feedings. This one typically 1 one/2 hours and we attempt to stretch him a little farther. As well he used to take longer naps like ane-2 hours. At present hes about 25-45 minutes and typically that'southward laying on me. In one case I lay him down he's back upwards. Does this seem right? I'm wondering if he's condolement feeding considering the reflux might be worse and not sleeping well either. He is however fussy betwixt and later feedings and throws upwardly occasionally merely much less than the other formulas. I'thousand glad that he'south eating more than and gaining weight but I promise it hasn't turned into silent reflux.

Crash-land! I'm no help but I'k so curious about this! We switched my son to Enfamil AR early this week and are experiencing the aforementioned matter! His spit-up is 100 times better but he's only sleeping ii-3 hours at a fourth dimension including at night. On Enfamil Newborn his spit-up was horrible but he was sleeping 4-5 hours with a longer stretch at night.

Someone else said they are experiencing the aforementioned. I gauge the formula is the best option but he yawns ALL the fourth dimension similar hes very tired but he won't go down or stay down for long. I see my dr in 2 weeks so I can ask then.

Same problem here. It's like he's never full on the AR.
carson was put on it for reflux and  it has been working great. i havent experienced any times where he sleeps less tho. hes sleeping more than! we think its because of it being thicker. in that location are times tho that he may only drink 1oz and information technology will terminal him for a good iv hours at night. then at the adjacent feeding he may drink 5. i've just gotten to the signal where i make his bottles as needed. if he drinks 1oz at four:00 and then i will make a 6oz bottle for his next..

I just read the instructions--- and your supposed to let it sit for v mintues before feeding the baby- to thicken up.
I haven't been doing that. Maybe thats the problem.

we utilise the ready to feed version - the powder was too much for our soon. he choked on that also.

6oz every 4 hours seems like a good amount. That's what my pedi said baby SHOULD be doing for eight weeks, but he seems to want iv-5oz every 2 hours!

My lo has been on it for about iii weeks she will be8 weeks tomorrow. About a calendar week agone she all of a sudden started sleeping thru the nights. Like 10-7am. I don't know your lo ones ages merely don't forget they have a growth spurt effectually 6 weeks lasting almost a week and the eat way more than and don't sleep every bit much... Thts what mine did. Hth
